Students divided themselves up according to skill level. One side of the gym was for advanced players and the other side was for beginner players. Students made teams to play 3 vs. 3 basketball games. I saw a LOT of improvement in the beginners group!! The advanced group looked great too.

Students rotated through the following stations today: dribbling, bounce pass, chest pass, free throw, lay-ups, and Gotcha. We will continue working on basketball skills tomorrow.
We just finished up a unit on CrossFit. We learned several gymnastics skills (push-ups, kip swings, toes to bar, and handstand push-ups) and did some great work outs. Tomorrow we will begin our last unit of the nine weeks, which will be basketball.
